I am  mother of six children from 27 to 11 with two grandchildren. A returning college student at 47 I write about a variety of subjects concerning abuse advocacy to parenting to what ever catches my interest today. My warped worldview has allowed me to survive this weird little world with a semblance of rationality most of the time. I try to balance my life between fighting my causes  and finding a sense of humor to survive the everyday little battles of life.  Writing for me is both a tool to promote awareness and a coping mechanism for the everyday insanity of kids, career, college and life in general.
